We welcome your “well-behaved” children. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and must stay with you the entire day! We also welcome your school or organization projects.

Volunteer Orientation

Orientations are required and are by appointment only. You must first complete the attached form and a regular orientation before becoming a volunteer. Orientation lasts approximately 45 minutes and is required. It provides the policies and procedures of the sanctuary along with the Safety Rules for the protection of both you and our parrots. It also includes hands on training on how to enter cages, mix food and what to look for while feeding the parrots (toys needing replaced, parrot health, cage inspection etc…)
